SEC launches investor education Web site

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a Web site devoted to investor education, which includes a "top tips" list and advice on how to avoid financial scams. On the Web site consumers also can find information about how to get started investing, saving for a child's education and retirement planning.
