Southwest Airlines, the biggest passenger carrier at T.F. Green Airport, is restructuring its national schedule and is adding a nonstop flight from Boston's Logan International Airport to St. Louis, starting Jan. 10. Only two weeks ago, Southwest started offering its first flights from Logan to Baltimore and Chicago. A Southwest spokesman said the St. Louis was added because demand in Boston is stronger than the company projected. Southwest doesn't fly directly to St. Louis from T.F. Green or Boston Manchester Regional Airport in New Hampshire. Southwest also said it is adjusting flight frequencies in 92 markets and temporarily dropping service on three routes in January. One of the routes that will be discontinued is one from Manchester to Phoenix. |
