Mark R. Noble, vice-president of commercial real estate for Citizens Bank, assumed his role as chairman of Rhode Island Housing's board of commissioners on Thursday. Noble takes over from Anthony Marouchoc, who served as board chairman for the past six years. Prior to joining Citizens, Noble worked for Old Stone Bank. He is currently commissioner of the South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Commission. Rhode Island Housing is a quasi-public agency that works to ensure Rhode Islanders can afford safe, healthy housing. The agency provides low-interest loans, grants, education and counseling to help people rent, buy and retain their homes. |
