CVS Caremark Corp. said Tuesday it will hire 125 pharmacy technicians and others to staff a call center it is plans to open in December at the Highland Corporate Park along the Cumberland-Woonsocket border.

The company is joining with the Community College of Rhode Island and the Providence Skills Center to train people as pharmacy technicians capable of answering questions from CVS customers about medications, insurance and other pharmacy-related matters.
Calls to CVS drug stores in Southeastern New England will be routed to the call center to free pharmacists filling prescriptions intended for pick-up in the stores.

"We are launching this innovative pharmacy service program to enhance the service provided to individuals who call our pharmacies, as well as to provide more time for our pharmacy teams to spend serving customers in our stores," said Larry Merlo, president of the company's pharmacy division.

Gentlemen:

I am looking for part-time or full-time employment. I stopped in the store today on Lititz Pike in Lancaster, PA where I get all my meds, etc. They said I had to apply online that they didn't have an application. They have a sign in their window. Please let me know how I can apply for work at this particular store. Thank you.

Hope you can help.
