Spectrum managing partner Michael Lederman will head Morgan Keegan's newly formed Special Situations Group. Spectrum partner Joseph Sands will be management director of that group. The two will keep their offices in Bristol. "Our commitment to providing our clients with the highest quality investment banking services has led to a number of strategic acquisitions over the past two years," Chip Grayson, Morgan Keegan's executive managing director and director of investment banking, said in a statement. "We've had an interest in adding restructuring expertise to our practice for some time, and now we have the right people on board to lead this effort."
