Touchstone Crystal Inc., of Cranston, on Friday said it has acquired a California-based direct sales frim for an undisclosed amount. Based in California, Little Black Dress Fashion Jewelry Collection Inc., was started in 2004 as a company to sell to individuals who attend events hosted by its salespeople. Touchstone arranges jewelry parties featuring Swarovski crystals and crystal pearls through a network of independent salespeople. The company is a member the Swarovski Group of Companies, of Cranston. In July 2008, Touchstone joined the Direct Selling Association. Little Black Dress sells sterling silver and other jewelry through a network of independent salespeople. Founders Robert McCannel and Erich Yost joined Touchstone as part of the deal. Touchstone provides its salespeople with a line of finished jewelry for sale directly to consumers. |
