Shoppers who have working consumer electronic devices, from digital cameras to wireless phones, can use them to get discounts on new RadioShack products.

Fort Worth-based RadioShack, which had a trade-in program operating online, decided to expand the program to its stores due to the program's success, the company said. Now, customers can bring MP3 players, wireless phones, gaming systems, games, GPS receivers, digital cameras and camcorders to any of the company's 4,400 stores and trade in their device for a discount on a new product.

The following criteria must be met to complete a trade-in:
- The products must be in working condition.
- The customer must be the owner of the device.
- The customer must show a valid driver's license, state ID card, military ID or passport.
