PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Motorists have been getting a breather from the steady increase in gasoline prices, according to the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources' weekly survey. On Monday it reported that the average price of regular unleaded self-serve gasoline remained at $2.12 per gallon, the same as a week ago. The prices of other grades were unchanged as well. Full-service regular unleaded was 17 cents per gallon more than self-serve, also the same as a week ago. The average price of home heating oil rose 3 cents per gallon to $2.25.
