Cumberland Farms and Gulf Oil have opened a new business support office in Framingham, Mass., in a move that combines the corporate, convenience store, real estate operations and the Gulf Oil LP subsidiary into one office.
This is the latest in a series of joint developments by the companies. Last month, Cumberland Farms opened a new store concept, in Farmington, Conn., focused on fresh food and hot coffee. Gulf Oil has several new programs in 2009 to further its branding and customer-loyalty programs.
Cumberland Farms' network of retail stores and gas stations, and its support system including petroleum and grocery distribution operations, spans 11 states across the Northeast and Florida. Gulf Oil is a major gasoline brand in the Northeast, with more than 2,500 retail locations.
