Spirit Airlines, a low-cost carrier, will begin offering daily service to Atlantic City, a new destination for Logan Airport, starting May 1, the Massachusetts Port Authority said. The agency said that means Logan now offers nonstop service to 71 domestic destinations, more than twice as many as any other New England airport. Massport also said Sun Country Airlines will offer nonstop service from Logan to Minneapolis beginning May 1, Sunday through Friday (except Wednesdays), during the summer. Sun Country Airlines brings the number of airlines now operating at Logan to 46, Massport said. It also announced the resumption of seasonal service to a number of destinations including Lisbon, Paris and Helsinki. |
