The board of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation is meeting Monday for the first time since a review panel criticized the agency and called on all eight board members to resign.
The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. at the EDC headquarters, 315 Iron Horse Way in Providence. The agenda does not mention the review panel's findings, which also recommended that Governor Carcieri replace the interim EDC director, J. Michael Saul, with "an experienced, professional economic development executive."
Rhode Island's unemployment rate is 10.5 percent, the highest in three decades.
