Public officials will gather today to celebrate the opening of the new corporate headquarters of InQuest Technologies, a developer of web-based business applications, at 300 West Exchange St., Providence. The company's expansion was supported by a $750,000 loan from the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation's Small Business Loan. The company, run by co-founder and chief executive officer Michael Colapietro, will use the loan to expand and create 30 jobs over the next year. Gov. Carcieri and Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline are scheduled to address the employees at a noontime event. |
