A project to replace the Sakonnet River Bridge, studied and debated for the past 15 years, is "apparently on the move," The Providence Journal's Bruce Landis reported in The Providence Sunday Journal. "The bridge is a critical part of the regional highway system. It carries Routes 24 and 138 between Portsmouth and Tiverton and links Newport and Aquidneck Island to Fall River, Boston and the rest of Southeastern Massachusetts," Landis wrote. Still, though it carries 40,000 vehicles a day, it has become badly rusted and "subject to weight limits on and off for more than a decade." To find out why, read Landis's piece detailing the difficulty of building the foundations of a bridge in challenging, silty soil. Also writing in The Providence Sunday Journal, business editor John Kostrzewa reports that "momentum has started to build again to permit casinos or allow slot parlors at racetracks" in Massachusetts. That development, Kostrzewa warns, "would have implications for the financially struggling Twin River," potentially keeping many Bay State gamblers out of Rhode Island and even siphoning some local Twin River regulars, which could cut into "Twin River's revenues and make the facility less financially viable." Hi,
Traffic Schools are very useful in these days. Every one not interested to learn themselves. They need others help. For those people these schools give full training in the driving.
