Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and MinuteClinic, the retail health centers set up by CVS Caremark Corp., are collaborating to operate the clinics at several locations in David Bronson, chairman of the Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic, said, "Consumers today want access, affordability and coordinated care at all levels. This collaboration with MinuteClinic enhances this innovative solution and addresses those needs while By the end of 2009, the collaboration will include nine locations in northeast Ohio, each one staffed by a MinuteClinic nurse practitioner with clinical consultation provided by a Cleveland Clinic medical directors. Woonsocket-based CVS has plans to open hundreds of MinuteClinics across the country.
