Gasoline prices in Rhode Island continued their steep downward decline today, falling 23 cents from a week ago to $2.32 a gallon. The average price hasn't been this low since February, 2007, according to a survey by the state's Office of Energy Resources. The survey showed the prices ranged from a low of $2.20 a gallon to a high of $2.46 a gallon. The average price of diesel was $3.48 a gallon and the average price of home heating oil was $2.79 a gallon, according to the state survey. |
