Leonard Lardaro, professor of economics at the University of Rhode Island, will be the keynote speaker at the annual shareholders' meeting of the Narragansett Insured Tax-Free Income Fund. Lardaro will review the state of the national economy and current financial crisis, as well as the state of the Rhode Island economy. The mutual fund's meeting will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
