Eight government seized vehicles, metal coining equipment and other goods will be sold by SJ Corio Company for the Rhode Island State Police at a live auction Saturday, Sept. 20 at the company's offices at 22 Dewey Ave., Warwick. The metal coining equipment was confiscated in 2006 from a manufacturer who was minting counterfeit coins to be used at casinos in Connecticut and New Jersey. The vehicles were seized from a number of incidents in Rhode Island. Other items include repossessed bridal dress shop equipment, computers, servers and copiers. Potential buyers can inspect items for sale by appointment and the morning of the sale beginning at 9 a.m. |
