Verizon Communications has told state regulators that it will raise the rates of many of its optional calling features, such as caller ID and call waiting, as of June 1.
The increases apply only to residential customers in Rhode Island. Most services are increasing by a total of 50 cents per month.
Here are some of the increases that Verizon has filed with the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission:
