Rhode Island's single-family house prices during January and February declined 9 percent, to $240,000, compared with $264,000 during the same two months of last year, according to The Warren Group, a Boston-based research firm.
House prices in the state have now declined for 11 consecutive months.
The report released today also shows that sales of single-family houses during the first two months of this year plunged 22 percent.
