Supervalu Inc., the second-biggest U.S. supermarket chain, is recalling puffed-rice and puffed-wheat cereal from its Shaw's stores in six states because of possible salmonella contamination.
The recall is of Shaw's Puffed Rice and Shaw's Puffed Wheat cereals, supplied by Malt-O-Meal Co. and sold at stores in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, Shaw's said in a statement.
