Chris W. Bodine, executive vice president and president, CVS Caremark Health Care Services, has decided for personal reasons to scale back his day-to-day responsibilities and will begin a transition to retirement in 2009, Woonsocket-based CVS Caremark Corp. said in a regulatory filing today.
In connection with the transition, Bodine is assuming the new position of special advisor to the chief executive officer of CVS Caremark. In this position, he will retain responsibility for trade relations/Rx purchasing and MinuteClinic, as well as a role in the continued development of the company’s new health care model and roadmap for its long-term growth.
