Cox Communications is preparing to offer TiVo-based digital video recorder service in its New England division, Multichannel News has reported. TiVo president and CEO Tom Rogers, in a conference call Wednesday discussing the company’s quarterly results, said Cox is currently in technical trials and will be launching soon in New England, according to the report. Cox has not announced its pricing for TiVo-based DVR service, the report said. Cox’s New England division provides service in Rhode Island and parts of Connecticut. |
