Robert Antignano, third-generation owner of Angelo’s Civita Farnese, is scheduled to be honored today at a luncheon at his Federal Hill restaurant for winning the national Jeffrey H. Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year award.
One of the special guests was Steve Preston, the administrator of the U.S. Small Business Association who joined federal, state and city politicians at Angelo’s Civita Farnese restaurant founded in 1924.
Prior to winning the national award, Antignano won New England and Rhode Island family-owned business award. The Butland award is named for the SBA’s former administrator in New England who died from a heart attack at each 53.
