Kevin A. Dillon, who will take over T.F. Green Airport next month, is flying to Rhode Island today to attend a meeting of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation board. The Providence Journal reported yesterday that the airport board had agreed to pay Dillon $220,000 a year to trade his post at the main Orlando airport for the top job in Rhode Island. Before Orlando, Dillon ran the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire. In Rhode Island, he is replacing Mark P. Brewer, who decamped for Dillon's old job in Manchester on Dec. 21. For the time being, interim director Peter A. Frazier, the airport's top lawyer, remains in charge. Dillon is scheduled to start on Feb. 18. The airport board meeting starts at 4 p.m. in a conference room in the terminal building. |
